sks trigger groups

I feel I have a fairly simple job thats needs to be done if anyone can help.
I have a trigger group for an yugo sks i replaced. the new one im having trouble fitting. which im sure i could fix myself but id rather not touch it. and the old trigger im quite sure the problem is a negative sear engagement. the hammer hangs on the sear which dosent fire the weapon. then out of nowhere the gun will discharge itself when the hammer slips and fall. which is dangerous and deadly of course.
so in short, i have a trigger group that needs to be fitted and one that needs to be fixed.
id like to fixed the old one for a spare or to build another sks in the future.
please feel free to comment or to point and laugh at my misfortune :lol2:
