Thinking Of Getting Into IDPA

Postby Bill801 » Mon 22 Aug 2016 12:07 pm

I'm looking to increase my skillset beyond the "Square Range", and already know I do my best work in a competitive setting.

IDPA and USPSA seem to be no-brainers for this.

I know to go to the respective sites for general info, fees, locations, etc, but I'd like some Real World feedback.

For handguns, all I have is my 1911 and Taurus pt111 millennium g2; I know the 1911 will work just fine, but will the Taurus fit the bill?

Am I wrong in thinking that competitive nature of IDPA and USPSA will satisfy my objectives?

Thanks for any insight.
