Dustin's YouTube Channel

Postby Dustin WJ » Tue 20 Dec 2016 8:31 am

Lately, I've shared several of my YouTube videos. I plan to continue doing that, but I think it's better to limit them to one thread instead of having them spread out through the forum. So, from now on, I'll post them in this thread. Here are the videos I've done so far...

This one was a lot of fun to do! It's an overview/comparison of the AK-47 and the AR-15 rifles.

"Glocks don't have a safety."

I hear that a lot, so that's what my newest video is about.

Mounting a scope on the dust cover of an AK-47. It's not a solid place to mount a scope, but I decided to give it a try for a video.

Thanks for posting these, Dustin. I'll have to check them out. Tell Phil "hi" from John Wright. He and Jason helped us out with a few legal papers in the past. Be interested to know if he's still got his M&P Pro C.O.R.E. with the RMR? He shot mine once during the Idaho Enhanced CCW class and went out pretty much the next weekend to buy one for himself. I guess I was a bad influence.

Anyway, look forward to viewing your videos.

My dad uses both. I don't remember which one he prefers for how easy they are to clean. I think he uses Pyrodex more often because black powder is hard to find locally.

He has a couple Sharps rifles that we take out and shoot out to 600 meters. Sometimes farther. But it's pretty easy to hit steel that far away with them.

The smoke cloud is always cool to see as well.

Yeah, it's virtually impossible to find in stores. Several store managers have told me they need special licenses to sell it because it's an explosive, so they just don't want to deal with the hassle.

I really really want to find real black powder locally.

It is possible to have it shipped, however the shipping costs are understandably quite steep.

Me too. If I ever find it locally, I'll be sure to post where it is.

That's awesome. I wish more kids were taught how to safely handle firearms. Good job.
