The most inexpensive way to obtain NRA credentials while supporting Scouting at the same time.

Sept 18 BIT - Cache Public Shooting Range, Logan
Sept 19 Muzzleloading Rifle Instructor - Cache Public Shooting Range, Logan

Oct 09 BIT Trapper Trails Council Office, South Ogden
Oct 10 NRA Shotgun Instructor course - Ogden
Oct 10 RSO - Cache Public Shooting Range, Logan

Nov 14 RSO - Trapper Trails Council Office, South Ogden
Nov 20 BIT - Cache Public Shooting Range, Logan
Nov 21 NRA Pistol Instructor Course - Cache Public Shooting Range, Logan

Prerequisites: Must have current BSA Youth Protection Certificate, be actively engaged with your local Scouting activity and commit to support your local Scouting Shooting Sports program over the next 2 years.

I've worked with the counselors that train Trapper Trails instructors. Great guys. I need to renew my BIT, too.

Some TCs will renew your BIT with just a brief refresher, if you can show that you have been actively instructing over the past 2 years (taught 2 or more basic level NRA courses). Of course, to qualify, they would have to be listed in your NRAInstructors.org managed course listings.

For those NRA Instructors that qualify, the NRA is offering a BSA only TCDW in the Portland, Oregon area, the first weekend of Oct. 2015. It is offered at a substantial discount and requires you to commit to assisting the BSA shooting sports program in your local council for a period of 2 years after completing the course. There are 10 seats left.
