The Lee Kay Range volunteer Safety Officer was really impress with the way that she handled and shot Stephen's AR-15.

So a suppressed AR-15 might be in your future.

Ya I was quite surprised how quickly she picked everything up! Suppressed AR and pistols will probably be in the Christmas list

My wife took the class and submitted the application with the group (thanks, dewittdj, for submitting them). The check posted to our account Dec 3. Baby steps to 45 days from now!

Chances are pretty good that they will be received in under 45 days. Partly due to the fact that the form was pre-printed and filled out with all of the information in the proper format.

Alas, suppressors aren't in our budget this year. :(
She said they were fun. Honestly, she likes just about everything that goes bang or blows things up. :dancing:
Interestingly, I think our living in the semi-ghetto motivated her to get her permit. Whatever works, right?

Thanks again to all who provided excellent instruction and patience!

My family and I had gone to a light-weight shooting match (GSSF) and were between stages and getting ready -- loading magazines. My teen-aged daughter said "pass the ammo, dad", and the gentleman next to me started chuckling under his breath. He looked at me with a big grin and said "pass the ammo, dad" -- and how he hoped he'd hear that someday.

Part and parcel for the outstanding job that BCI does when you consistently provide them with accurate information, legible and correctly filled out forms, pictures meeting the required criteria, and fingerprints accurately captured.

Outstanding work UCC volunteers!!! Your efforts are paying off in rapidly processed applications!

Great! Sent out an email to all of the students whose packages I submitted, letting them know to keep an eye on the mail. Hopefully, they'll all see it arrive before Christmas!

Congrats to him! I'm glad to hear it came so quickly. Does he intend to start carrying often?

He has to save up for gun first. They are on a tight budget right now and I don't have an extra for him. It is high on his list though as he has been applying at various police forces as well to find one that will hire him and put him through post.

Idk your guys location but I know West Valley PD is hiring certifiable candidates as well as offering sign on/moving bonuses.
