Yes, thank you for your service Kevin...my brother is one of "the one's that is taking your place." He is Army Reserve too--he's in Pre-Mobilization training right now in Wisconsin. He's deploying to Afghanistan in a few months. 311th Finance.

Eight years ago today, I came home to my wife on April Fools Day, and announced to her that I had joined The Army Reserve.

I think she thought I was playing a joke on her, until I asked "Today is April Fools Day?!?"

Needless to say, My eight year enlistment expires today, and I couldn't me happier to let the big gubment machine chug away without me.

Eight Years and only a 5? haha thanks for your service and you lucky guy... Still got 4 more years till my ETS if I decide I want out.
